1. Lucas Patrick

Don’t get me wrong here. This isn’t a hate post about Lucas Patrick. Patrick has filled in admirably at right guard and has held his own in backup duty this season. His 64.8 PFF grade is solid and ranks 38th among 83 qualified guards. It’s safe to say the Packers have been happy with his performance as well.

The thing is, he’ll likely be going up against future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald (one of the biggest storylines to watch) most plays on Saturday. The Rams will probably do everything they can to ensure Donald matches up with Patrick as often as possible, making the right guard in for an extremely long day at the office.

Head coach Matt LaFleur will be responsible for ensuring he sends lots of help Patrick’s way. The reality is, however, that there will be at least a handful of plays where Patrick is responsible for taking Donald on one-on-one. We’ll see how that ends for Green Bay.
