2. Top offense vs top defense

Speaking of the Packers’ offense, this will be one of their biggest challenges all season. Green Bay finished the season ranked fifth in total yards, first in fewest turnovers, first in scoring percentage and first in total points. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Lining up across from them on Saturday will be one of the fiercest defenses in the NFL. Nothing will come easy. The Rams’ defense finished first in fewest points allowed, first in total yards allowed, and first in scoring percentage allowed. It also doesn’t get much better than that.

The Rams’ pass defense is the strength of their team, which matches up very nicely with the Packers’ strength. It’s not only Ramsey in the secondary, as safety John Johnson and cornerback Darius Williams have also played tremendously this season. Whichever team wins the battle in the passing game will have a huge edge in determining the outcome of the game.
