4. Aaron Rodgers continues his dominance

Aaron Rodgers will likely win his third MVP this season after throwing for 4299 yards, 48 touchdowns and just five interceptions. It was a tight race with Patrick Mahomes down the stretch, but Rodgers was playing his best football in December. And at Lambeau Field in December.

Thankfully, Green Bay has home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs and Rodgers will have the opportunity to continue flexing his excellence in the cold. That starts next Saturday with an unfavorable forecast for the visiting Rams’ team.

If the Packers want to win the Lombardi Trophy again, they need Rodgers to be at his best to have their best opportunity. And that’s exactly what will happen. Rodgers has been sharp all season and there’s no reason that won’t continue when the stakes are the highest.
