Here are five bold predictions about what the upcoming NFL playoffs hold for the Green Bay Packers on their potential path to a Super Bowl.

After an eventful Wild Card weekend in the NFL Playoffs, we now know the Green Bay Packers will host the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round. The game is set to kick off at 3:35 p.m. CT on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

With the field narrowed from 14 teams down to just eight, we figured it’s time to make some bold predictions about what the playoffs hold for the Packers. So without further ado, lets’ jump right in.

5. Green Bay continues to play soft defense

The Packers’ soft coverage has been an issue, as their defensive backs play way off the line of scrimmage far too often. It’s mostly reared its ugly head when it’s third and short or medium and the corners are eight or so yards off the line of scrimmage, allowing the offense to convert easy first downs. There’s no reason for it, as the Packers have one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL and another good one opposite him. Head coach Matt LaFleur was vocal about it in the media as the season went on, but the issue still persists. It will certainly prevent Green Bay from getting off the field throughout the playoffs.
