With Wild Card weekend packed full of games this year, here’s who the Green Bay Packers will be rooting for in the opening round of the playoffs.

Even though the Green Bay Packers don’t play football this weekend, it doesn’t mean Packers’ fans don’t have a lot hanging in the balance. In case you’re tuned in front of the television and aren’t sure exactly which teams to root for, worry no more. Green Bay will play the lowest remaining seed after this weekend (a possibility of four teams), and below is everything you need to know about which teams we hope win on Wild Card weekend.

Matchups

Saturday, 3:40 p.m. CT No. 6 Los Angeles Rams at No. 3 Seattle Seahawks

The Packers took down the Seahawks in the divisional round last year, and the two teams wouldn’t meet until the NFC Championship game this time around if they both got that far. Seattle has one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL with Russell Wilson lighting it up in the air to both D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Their defense has also come around over the last month, making them a more complete team even if their wins haven’t been as pretty.

It’s for those reasons the Packers should hope for the Rams to pull off the upset. Los Angeles is dealing with some injuries of their own, but their defense is elite and will have every opportunity to defeat their division rival. Their defense front would present a difficult challenge for Green Bay, but the Pack should have an easier time with them compared to the Seahawks as a whole.
