3. Jaire Alexander

After having a very good second year, Jaire Alexander has taken yet another step forward in Year 3. He’s quickly established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, and, at just 23-years-old, he has a long reign ahead of him.

Despite standing just 5-foot-10, Alexander is one of the most physical cornerbacks in the game. He routinely blows up bubble screens and opponents have stopped trying them on his side of the field. His tackling is also elite, as are his coverage skills. He’s PFF’s second-highest graded corner and his coverage grade is off the charts as well. In the playoffs, Alexander will be asked to cover the best wide receivers in the game without much help, and don’t be surprised to see him excel.
