Packers’ good thing no. 3. Aaron Rodger’s MVP run

After a successful first year for the Rodgers and LaFleur duo, it’s been even better the second time around. Rodgers has thrived under LaFleur, who has slowed the game down for the future Hall of Famer and made life as easy as possible for him.

As a result, Rodgers is having the best season of his career at 37-years-old. He’s thrown for 4059 yards, 44 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He’s been locked in a two-man race for the MVP award for most of the second half of the season and it appears he’s finally overtaken Kansas City Chiefs’ star Patrick Mahomes for good. Mahomes is sitting out their season finale while Rodgers still has a meaningful game against the Chicago Bears remaining. Who knows if or when this will happen again, so it’s been a great MVP run for Rodgers and Packers’ fans.
