Packers’ good thing no. 4. Fourth down aggressiveness

The question about when and when not to go for it on fourth down has been pondered since the beginning of time. Head coach Matt LaFleur has no issue trusting his team on fourth downs and keeping his foot on the gas of aggressiveness. And it’s paid off for this offense.

The Packers have gone for it on fourth down 21 times this season–eighth-most in the NFL. They’ve also converted 13 of those for a 61.9 success rate–fourth-best in the league. LaFleur has shown he has no problem pressing the issue and going for it when the correct situation calls for it. We love to see that!
