With 2020 coming to an end, the Green Bay Packers should reflect and be thankful for these five good things that happened.
With 2020 finally coming to an end, it’s time to take a look back and reflect on what the year brought us. Although it was a crazy year like no other, there are still some good things that happened–especially for the Green Bay Packers on the football field. Here are the five best things to emerge from 2020.
Packers’ good thing no. 5. Re-signed Robert Tonyan
Sometimes it’s the small things in life that matter. The Packers were fortunate enough to tender tight end Robert Tonyan in the offseason and bring him back for another season. That was a huge move for a team with a questionable outlook at tight end after releasing veteran Jimmy Graham.
It turns out Tonyan was their saving grace. He’s been one of the best players at his position this season and should’ve earned a Pro Bowl nod as a result. On the season, he has 50 receptions for 568 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s proven to be one of the better young tight ends in the league and his future is bright.
