These five young defensive players on the Green Bay Packers could propel the team and shine in the upcoming playoff run.

The Green Bay Packers have quietly assembled a number of talented young players on their roster, specifically on the defensive side of the ball. This talent acquisition will be handy throughout their (hopefully) deep playoff run, as these players are coming of age right before our eyes.

The draft and develop approach will never be more important, as the NFL’s salary cap is set to drop in 2021. These five guys will certainly have large roles moving forward, but, first, they should be ready to shine in the postseason.

5. Kinglsey Keke

Kingsley Keke was selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and, after not playing much last year, has earned his spot in the rotation along the defensive line in 2020. He works hard and is quickly learning what it takes to be a successful player at this level. At 24-years-old, he’s a bit older than most second-year players, but his game shows the maturity he possesses. He’s most dangerous when rushing the passer and should be able to disrupt the quarterback when the games matter most.
