Can the Green Bay Packers OL bounce back?

Against a not very good Carolina Panthers’ pass-rush, the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line had their worst performance since the Tampa Bay game earlier this season. Aaron Rodgers was sacked five times and was under constant pressure during that second half.

As good as this Packer offense has been, if Rodgers is under duress, moving the ball becomes a nearly impossible task. The good news is that the Titans pass-rush is last in sacks with only 14, and they’re last in pressure rate as well. The Packer offensive line has been dominant for most of the season, that I’m chalking up last week’s performance as just a blip on the radar. And this week, they should be able to bounce back against a feeble Tennessee pass-rush.

What are we going to see from Kevin King?

To put it simply, these last two games from Kevin King against Detroit and Carolina have been bad. He’s allowed 10 receptions on 12 targets for 186 yards, and he’s been called for three penalties as well. King is going to have to be better, or the Titan passing attack will take advantage.

While Henry draws much of the attention, receivers Brown and Davis have combined for over 1,800 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns this season. They may, in fact, be the best receiving duo in the NFL this season. On top of that, Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee passing game has been particularly effective off play-action. King needs to bounce back in a big way.
