2. Adrian Amos

A rising star for the Packers, Adrian Amos is coming off his best game of the season against the Carolina Panthers. He was everywhere, as he provided great run support near the line of scrimmage as well as coverage in the secondary.

Suddenly, Amos is PFF’s fifth-ranked safety with an 80.1 mark. Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine is using him in his best role and it’s paying off. Amos’ stellar play has also freed up fellow safety Darnell Savage to play his best ball of the season. Although his late surge went unrecognized by voters, it’s clear he’s been one of the best safeties in the NFC this season.
