3. A.J. Dillon

A.J. Dillon finally returned from the covid-19/reserve list last week but didn’t see any time on offense. Instead, he played only a handful of snaps on offense. Dillon got some playing time earlier in the season when he was thrown in the mix for a few snaps here and there behind Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. It would be nice to see a bit of that again if the Packers can afford it.

With Jones switching agents, it’s becoming less likely he’ll re-sign in Green Bay for a reasonable price. Williams is also a free agent, but could be had on a much cheaper contract. The Packers prepared for the scenario where they lose both of their top backs by selecting Dillon in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. It would be nice to get him a few reps each week to help prepare him for the larger role he’s sure to assume in 2021.
