Packers: 5 biggest 2021 Draft needs based on 2020 season

2. Cornerback

Sticking with the secondary, adding a cornerback on Day 1 or 2 should be at or near the top of the Packers’ list. Kevin King is a pending free agent and it’s unclear if the two sides will be able to agree to a contract extension. Josh Jackson has played himself out of an active spot on gameday and Chandon Sullivan has struggled as well.

Green Bay has already used a ton of draft resources to address their need at cornerback. They’ve used a first round selection on Jaire Alexander (their only true hit), and second round picks on King and Jackson. However, that doesn’t mean they should shy away from addressing the all-important cornerback position in today’s pass-happy NFL.
