Winner: Milwaukee Bucks

At the end of the day, the Bucks’ organization that has fretted over this decision for years walks away with a huge victory for their fans, players, franchise and small markets everywhere. The ownership group led by Marc Lasry and Wes Edens took over in 2014 with an eye on this moment the entire time. Now they’ve succeeded in securing the best player to ever suit up in a Bucks’ uniform.

Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee have worked toward this moment for years. Although it wasn’t an easy decision for the Greek Freak–who wants to win more than anything else–he has chosen to pull the Bucks into the NBA Championship conversation with him for the next half-decade at least. It’s a great feeling and no matter what the future holds, the Bucks can be proud of what transpired on Tuesday.
