Loser: Miami Heat/Dallas Mavericks/Toronto Raptors

The Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Toronto Raptors were rumored to be at the top of the list of free agent destinations for Antetokounmpo if he made it that far next summer. All three teams were extremely hesitant to add money to their 2021 cap or at least money they couldn’t easily move.

With Antetokounmpo off-limits, these teams will have to shift gears entirely and focus their attention elsewhere. Kawhi Leonard (player option), Rudy Gobert, Victor Oladipo, Jrue Holiday (player option) and Kyle Lowry are now some of the top names on the list. Milwaukee can work an extension with Holiday in February so we’ll see if that happens in a couple of months.
