2. Pressure from the right side

Lions’ left tackle Taylor Decker has been one of the better tackles in the NFL this year–posting PFF’s ninth-best grade at the position. The bad news is the right side of the line is in flux for Detroit.

Starting tackle Tyrell Crosby has already been ruled out with an injury which means Matt Nelson will have to fill in. Nelson has played 112 snaps this season, but has struggled big time, only earning a 43.4 grade from PFF.

This means the Packers must target the right side of the offensive line by putting Za’Darius Smith out there as often as possible. Let Big Z eat all day and force the Lions to use tight ends or running backs to chip. Constant pressure will pay huge dividends, especially if the Lions become one-dimensional to keep up with the Packers’ high-scoring attack.
