5 Packers who should make first Pro Bowl in 2021

3. Aaron Jones

This may be a year too late, as Aaron Jones had monster numbers in 2019 when he had over 1500 total yards and 19 touchdowns without making the Pro Bowl. However, his numbers may be even more impressive this time around.

His yards per carry are up from 4.6 last year to 5.2. As are his rushing yards per game and rushing yards after contact per attempt. The only worry is his lack of broken tackles this year which sits at 11 compared to 32 in 2019.

Still, Jones is one of the most dynamic backs in the NFL playing on one of the best offenses. Matt LaFleur intentionally limits his playing time and splits reps with Jamaal Williams, which may limit Jones’ individual performances, but it keeps him fresh for the long haul. Jones should be able to slide into the Pro Bowl this year based on his merits over the last two seasons.
