3. Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Maybe this is recency bias, as Marquez Valdes-Scantling is oh so close to setting career-highs in receiving yards and has already done so in touchdown receptions. However, the ups and downs he experiences are infuriating as a fan.

Valdes-Scantling doesn’t have many issues getting open deep, it’s catching the ball that he struggles with. We saw it again on Sunday when Aaron Rodgers dropped a perfectly placed ball on the numbers only to see it fall to the ground when Valdes-Scantling failed to bring it in. He already has a career-high six drops on the season and drops slightly more than 11 percent of his targets–also a career-high. Time is running out for the already 26-year-old.
