Packers: Winners and losers from victory over Eagles in Week 13
Winner: Aaron Rodgers
It’s amazing how an effective, yet simple scheme from Matt LaFleur has revitalized Rodgers and quickly returned him to his MVP form. After a couple of down seasons, Rodgers stays calm in the pocket, finds the open man and does so in rhythm. It looks like he could play another 10 years at this rate!
Rodgers completed 25 of 34 passes (73.5 completion rate) for 295 yards and three touchdowns–with a couple of those incompletions coming on dropped passes. He’s in the top two of the MVP conversation along with Patrick Mahomes and there’s no reason he should be number two.
