Nobody is under the microscope more than defensive coordinator Mike Pettine. Even when his defense has good games, critics find a way to pick apart what he should have done differently.

Pettine’s defenses have continuously made the same mistakes over and over, causing head coach Matt LaFleur to get more involved in that side of the ball this season. It’s difficult to imagine Pettine coming back next season unless something major changes. Still, those improvements could begin this week against a struggling Eagles’ offense that has disappointed all season long. This could be a momentum-building week for the Packers’ defense.
