Green Bay Packers Defense records 5 sacks and 2 Turnovers

The Philadelphia offense has been bad, and two major contributors are the offensive line play as well as quarterback Carson Wentz. The Eagles’ offensive line is allowing over four sacks per game this season, which is the most in the NFL, and the 191 total pressures they’ve given up is the most as well.

Even though the Green Bay pass-rush hasn’t been nearly as effective this season overall, when they’ve faced poor offensive lines — Chicago, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Houston — they’ve been able to get after the quarterback and should do the same this Sunday.

Because of this pressure, along with Wentz making foolish mistakes, I’m predicting two turnovers for the defense to go along with those five sacks. Wentz leads the NFL in interceptions this season, and even when he’s given a clean pocket, that hasn’t meant much, as 10 of his 15 interceptions have come with no pressure, according to Pro Football Focus ($). So whether or not the Green Bay pass-rush gets home — which they consistently should — I expect a few turnover worthy throws gifted to this Packer defense.
