2. Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has more ups and downs than a roller coaster. Right when you think he’s getting hot and getting things going, he disappears for a number of contests. We saw it last season when he ghosted the Packers over the final half of the season once Allen Lazard showed up.

Could we be seeing a repeat this year? Lazard returned from injury two weeks ago and received a lot more playing time last week. As a result, Valdes-Scantling didn’t even see a target, nonetheless have a reception. It could just be a blip on the radar (we hope), but it’s worth keeping an eye on after what happened last season. There’s certainly enough offense to go around and Aaron Rodgers would love for his deep threat to stay engaged.
