These five players on the Green Bay Packers will be depended upon for large contributions down the home stretch of their schedule.

The Green Bay Packers are unofficially in the homestretch of their 2020 schedule, as they try to finish out a second-straight impressive campaign. At 7-3, they are right in the mix for the top seed in the NFC along with a number of other teams, and it appears it will all come down to the final six games.

The Packers have a number of winnable games down the stretch that will hopefully allow them to build some momentum and ride a hot streak into the playoffs. Here’s their remaining schedule:

  • 11/29 vs Chicago Bears (5-5)
  • 12/6 vs Philadelphia Eagles (3-6-1)
  • 12/13 at Detroit Lions (4-6)
  • 12/20 vs Carolina Panthers (4-7)
  • 12/27 vs Tenessee Titans (7-3)
  • 1/3 at Chicago Bears (5-5)

It appears Green Bay will have every opportunity to win every single one of those games with their matchup against the Titans in Week 16 being their only contest against a team with a winning record. In order for them to run the table, however, they’ll depend on their five best players up to this point in the season.

5. David Bakhtiari

One of, if not the best left tackle in the game, David Bakhtiari deserves every penny of the massive contract extension he signed earlier this season. He protects Aaron Rodgers’ blindside and is the third-rated tackle with a PFF grade of 89.5 (just 0.5 points behind the top guy). As the fourth-highest rated player on the Packers’ roster this season, he drops to number five in overall importance because of the level of play of the guys behind him. Still, Bakhtiari is a stud and Green Bay is smart to keep him around for a long time.
