2. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is coming along nicely

Yes, Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a costly fumble in overtime that set the Colts up for their game-winning field goal. It’s also true he made a positive impact throughout the game; something that’s been far more common over the past few weeks.

After catching two touchdown receptions against the San Francisco 49ers, he exploded for 149 receiving yards last week. He made a few other nice plays in this game and finished with three receptions for 55 yards.

Yes, the fumble was a killer and he continues to be extremely inconsistent. However, it’s nice to see the flashes happening more often, and it appears LaFleur has more confidence in him than ever before.
