Let’s ground ourselves with three reality checks after the Green Bay Packers’ Week 11 collapse to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Green Bay Packers haven’t been a good team since their bye week, going 3-3 in that span. That includes a heartbreaking loss to the Indianapolis Colts after leading by 14 points at the half on Sunday. The second-half collapse is certainly a gloomy sign for their prospects in the postseason.

Before we overreact too much, however, it’s important to settle ourselves and accurately assess what just went down. As we’re doing that, let’s take a look at three reality checks Matt LaFleur and the Packers must face after their Week 11 loss to the Colts.

3. Darrius Shepherd isn’t an NFL-caliber wide receiver

Darrius Shepherd had a rough day as the Packers’ kick returner once again. With the Colts garnering all the momentum in the game, Shepherd fumbled a return and gave Indianapolis great field position without the Packers’ offense ever touching the field. It was a buzzkill and could be the final nail in the coffin to his professional hopes, as his speed and playmaking aren’t at the level needed in the NFL.
