3. Great fit

For as good as a player as Holiday is, he’s an even better fit alongside Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Although he’s just an average shooter from behind the arc, he will space the floor a bit better than Eric Bledsoe did for Milwaukee. Where Holiday’s true value lies, however, is in his ability to be a secondary or tertiary shot-creator as well as his unselfishness. Holiday will undoubtedly understand where and how he fits onto this Bucks’ team and will pick his spots a lot better than Bledsoe ever did.

He probably fits in even better defensively where he can guard three and sometimes even four positions. Holiday isn’t quite the on-ball defender Bledsoe is, but he’s much more versatile. He has better size and can body up with bigger guards and wings both on the perimeter and in the post. This versatility will allow Mike Budenholzer to implement multiple defensive schemes if he so chooses.
