5. Lucas Patrick

Heading into the season, Lucas Patrick was projected to be a backup interior offensive lineman. Unfortunately, an early injury to starting right guard Lane Taylor thrust Patrick into a full-time role. And he’s responded beautifully.

Patrick has been a staple at right guard ever since replacing Taylor and the Packers haven’t missed a beat. He’s been equally good in both the running and passing games, rarely hearing his name called on the broadcast. Although he’s not nearly on the same level as Elgton Jenkins, his steady performance is all you can ask for from a backup guard thrust into a starting role.
