6. Kamal Martin

Kamal Martin hasn’t played enough to qualify for PFF’s positional grades, but in the snaps he has played he’s earned a 67.1 grade–way better than any of the Packers’ other inside linebackers.

Green Bay desperately needs someone to step up at the position and Martin looks like he could be the long-term solution. He’s flashed his athleticism and aggressiveness that had coaches singing his praise in Training Camp. He’s also had rookie moments that have allowed for opposing backs to exploit his mistakes. See: Cook, Dalvin. However, Green Bay needs to find a way to keep this dude on the field if they want to reach their potential as a defense this season.
