1. Kamal Martin

This could be the Packers’ secret weapon down the stretch and the most likely way their defense can improve in 2020. Kamal Martin was projected to be the starter alongside Christian Kirksey way back in training camp, unfortunately, an injury caused him to miss the beginning of the season.

Well, he’s back now and he’s looked good in his limited playing time. Martin pops off the screen as Green Bay’s most athletically gifted inside linebacker, as he’s faster and more aggressive than his teammates. He makes rookie mistakes in his reads, to be sure, but the best way to iron that out is through more playing time. Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine must make sure this dude gets on the field as often as possible.
