These five members of the Green Bay Packers have been the most disappointing through the first eight games of the season.

The Green Bay Packers are off to a great start, posting six wins through their first eight games of the season. Although that puts them on pace for their second straight double-digit season, there have been a number of players who haven’t quite lived up to the hype.

More specifically, the defense has underwhelmed after having a fairly solid campaign in 2019. That’s why you’ll find almost all of the players on this most disappointing list on the defensive side of the ball. So, without further ado, let’s check out the five most disappointing players halfway through the Packers’ season.

5. Dean Lowry

Lowry had a poor year in 2019 and has doubled-down on that performance in 2020. He’s a big reason why Green Bay’s run defense is so awful, as he constantly gets pushed around at the point of attack. Not only does his PFF defensive grade of 53.4 rank 92nd out of 120 interior defensive linemen, but it’s also the lowest grade of his career. He’s a liability both against the run and as a pass rusher, making him a very ineffective player.
