The Green Bay Packers could pursue a trade to shore up their three biggest needs ahead of the 2020 NFL Trade Deadline.

At 5-1, the Green Bay Packers are in a great position heading into the NFL Trade Deadline for the second straight year. After all, they lead the NFC North and are tied with the Seattle Seahawks for the best record in the NFC. However, they still have a number of areas they need to shore up if they want to compete with the big boys come playoff time.

Despite going 13-3 a season ago and advancing to the NFC Championship game, there appeared to be a sizeable gap between the Packers and the other top teams in the NFL. This was never more apparent than during their beatdown at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in the championship game.

That ugly truth appeared to reveal itself again in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. The Bucs flew around on defense and were able to neutralize the limited weapons Green Bay has while exploiting their flawed defense. In order to close that gap, Green Bay should target a player that fits one of these three needs.
