Will we see a more aggressive Mike Pettine?

I already feel like I know the answer to this question, and unfortunately, it’s no. However, my hope is that we see this Green Bay Packers’ defense play more aggressively moving forward. Right now, they are struggling to get after the quarterback but rank 25th in blitz percentage, and with Jaire Alexander and Kevin King as your corners, let’s stop playing so soft at the line of scrimmage.

Let Alexander and King – if he’s healthy – play more press-man and trust that they’ll do their jobs. It’s time for the Green Bay Packers’ defense to start dictating things and stressing opposing offenses rather than the other way around.

Will David Bakhtiari play, and if not, who starts at RT?

Really all that we know at this point is that David Bakhtiari is on the injury report with a chest injury, and he did not practice on Wednesday. Clearly, there is no replacing Bakhtiari, but in a small sample size at left tackle, Rick Wagner held up okay in Tampa. However, we’ve also seen that Green Bay is not afraid to shuffle the offensive line this season, so we could potentially see either Billy Turner or Elgton Jenkins moved to right tackle in Bakhtiari’s absence.

As a team, Houston’s pressure rate of 20.6 percent is nothing to write home about, but their 16 sacks are the seventh most in the NFL, and their adjusted sack rate – which gives sacks per pass attempt adjusted for down, distance, and opponent – of 8.4 percent is the fifth-highest rate, according to Football Outsiders.

We saw how quickly things went downhill for the Green Bay Packers’ offense when Rodgers was under constant duress, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that Bakhtiari can somehow play this Sunday.
