Green Bay Packers CB2

I don’t have a particular person listed here because, as of this moment, I’m not sure who CB2 will be. The hope is that Kevin King will be good to go, and it’s a good sign that he was practicing on Friday. However, he remains questionable. If King can’t go, Green Bay could move Chandon Sullivan out wide or rely on Josh Jackson or Ka’dar Hollman.

But regardless of who CB2 ends up being, their play is going to be a key factor in this game.

On Friday, we learned that Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Scotty Miller would all be good to go for Sunday’s game. Evans and Tom Brady have formed quite the one-two punch in the red zone as Evans’ six touchdown receptions are tied for the league lead. Meanwhile, Godwin has missed the last two games but is coming off a 1,300-yard season and has been very efficient in his limited action in 2020, hauling in 11 of 13 receptions at 13 yards per catch with a touchdown.

Then there is the lesser-known Miller, who has been a reliable target, catching 75 percent of his passes and averaging nearly 17 yards per catch. This is also a Tampa offense that loves to air it out. Brady’s 30 deep pass attempts are tied with Rodgers for the most this season, and the Bucs’ 18 explosive pass plays are the sixth most in the NFL.

Jaire Alexander has been very good this season as he continues on with his All-Pro campaign, but against this loaded Tampa receiving corps, someone else will have to step up alongside him.
