Tight End

The tight end position was another huge question mark coming into the year. The Packers waived Jimmy Graham in the offseason and their lone acquisition was third-round pick Josiah Deguara.

Marcedes Lewis has basically been used as a glorified sixth offensive lineman and has done a tremendous job blocking at the line of scrimmage. Heck, he even caught a huge touchdown pass against the Saints. Robert Tonyan flashed his playmaking abilities in the passing game against the Falcons when he caught three touchdown passes. Both players rank in the top 12 of 65 qualified players in PFF’s grading.

Jace Sternberger brings the grade down a bit, as he’s struggled both catching the rock and in pass-blocking. It will be exciting to see what Deguara brings to the table over these next four games, as it’s clear Matt LaFleur has some creative plans for him in the future.
