Stud: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers continued his early-season domination and the injured Falcons’ secondary was overmatched all night long. He lit up Atlanta through the air despite not having his top two wide receivers in Davante Adams and Allen Lazard. Others stepped up in their absence.

Rodgers completed 27 of 33 passes (81.8 percent) for 327 yards and four touchdowns. That brings his season completion percentage to 70.5–what would be the highest of his career. His 13 touchdown seasons through four games is also half of what he had last season.

To be fair, head coach Matt LaFleur had another masterful gameplan ready that included Rodgers utilizing a trio of running backs in the passing game as well as his tight ends. They continued to use a lot of pre-snap motion to keep the defense on their heels and create tremendous opportunities for their skill players. It was a total masterpiece.
