Packers: 3 wildly specific predictions vs Falcons in Week 4

2. Aaron Jones scores the first touchdown

The Packers were criticized in the offseason for not selecting a wide receiver in a wide receiver deep draft. They silenced some of those critics in the first few weeks with dominant showings, but now have fewer weapons than ever before with Lazard ruled out, Marcedes Lewis doubtful and Adams and Deguara questionable.

That means Aaron Jones’ workload will continue to rise, both in the running and passing games. As a substitute for a lack of established receivers, don’t be surprised if Rodgers targets Jones more often through the air, as the Packers work to get their best players the ball most often. This will increase the chances Jones finds paydirt once again. After scoring 19 touchdowns a season ago, he’s already scored five times through three games. It’s probably safe to put your money on him scoring first in this contest.
