The Green Bay Packers are looking to stay perfect in week four and they’ll have to win some matchups against the Falcons to do so.

Led by second-year head coach Matt Lafleur and a rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers have won each of their first three games and will try to make it four on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons are 0-3 after blowing two fourth-quarter leads in typical Falcons fashion.

Like last week, both teams could be severely hindered on offense, missing their top receivers. Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, and Davante Adams are all on the injury report this week and will likely be game-time decisions, as well as Allen Lazard being on the injured reserve list. This puts a lot of uncertainty in the gameplan offensively and they’ll have to incorporate more other players into their offenses.

Going into a bye week and facing an 0-3 team, this is the perfect storm of the classic trap game. The last thing the Packers can do this week is lose focus and look past this team to their bye week. They have to keep their foot on the gas all game and make sure they don’t give this Falcons team any hope that they could take and run with.

While there are similarities between this Falcons team to last week’s matchup with the Saints, they have some different styles and the Packers are going to have to keep them under control and win their matchups to continue their undefeated run.
