5 wide receivers Packers should target with Allen Lazard out indefinitely
2 and 1. Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr.
Both of these options are more fantasy than anything, but it’s still fun to mention them as possible targets at wide receiver.
Antonio Brown has had a well-publicized fall from grace, but there was a recent time where he was the unquestioned top receiver in the league. From 2013-2018, he never caught fewer than 101 passes, recorded less than 1284 yards or caught fewer than eight touchdowns. That’s impressive and he’s available on the free agent market.
Odell Beckham is clearly the better player today and would provide an exciting partner across from Adams, although it would come at a cost. He’s posted at least 1000 yards in every healthy season of his career and would thrive in this Packers’ offense. If they want to swing for the fence, Beckham is their guy.
