2. Packers’ passing offense

Rodgers looks to have returned to his MVP form despite his advanced age. He’s completed 67 percent of his passes for 887 yards and nine touchdowns while throwing zero interceptions through the season’s first three games. That’s a nice bounce back from a couple of disappointing seasons.

He’ll face a sluggish Falcons’ passing defense which has struggled mightily this season. Through three games, they rank 24th in completion percentage allowed (69.6 percent), 26th in opponent yards per pass (7.8), 31st in opponent pass yards per game (350.3) and 24th in sack percentage (4.3 percent).

The Packers appear well-equipped to exploit that weakness, as they rank fifth in yards per pass (8.2) and sixth in pass yards per game (288) while also doing a tremendous job protecting Rodgers (only two sacks on the season). With Adams’ hopeful return as well as the rise to prominence of Allen Lazard and big-play ability of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, it could be a long day for this Falcons’ passing defense.
