Will Michael Thomas or Davante Adams play?

There’s a world where both teams could be without there star receivers on Sunday as Micahel Thomas was sidelined in Week 2 with an ankle injury, and Davante Adams left the game against Detroit with a hamstring injury.

I don’t feel the need to go into depth about the importance of Thomas and Adams to their respective offenses, we all know that, but their absences would create serious question marks for both teams.

In New Orleans’ case, can they find a way to push the ball downfield without Thomas? Because on Monday, they surely couldn’t. And while Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have looked good the first two weeks, can they carry the passing game on their own?

How will the Green Bay Packers’ offense fare against the Saints’ defense?

As I mentioned at the start of all of this, the Packers have the most potent offense in the NFL through two weeks with 85 points and 1,010 total yards. However, they went up against two teams with young cornerbacks and very little pass-rush in Weeks 1 and 2.

Now, this isn’t to take away from Green Bay’s performances. Aaron Rodgers has still been excellent, Davante Adams and Aaron Jones seem unstoppable, Lazard and Valdes-Scantling have both produced, the offensive line has been fantastic, and Matt LaFleur has called two beautiful games.

But this week, the Packers will be presented with a much bigger test against a Saints’ secondary led by Malcolm Jenkins and Marshon Lattimore, along with a pass-rush that knows how to get after the quarterback.
