Aaron Rodgers throws for 300 yards

Aaron Rodgers throwing for 300 yards as a bold prediction? You bet. Last season the two-time MVP would throw for over 300 yards in only four games, but this season, he’ll be one-for-one.

While much of the offseason was focused on the Green Bay Packers becoming more “run-oriented” and the fact that they didn’t really address the receiver position, let’s not forget that Rodgers is still the quarterback, meaning they’re going to throw the ball.

And although the receiver position could be considered thin, there are plenty of pass-catching options when you take into account the receiving ability of Green Bay’s running backs and tight ends. I also expect this offense to take a Year 2 leap under LaFleur.

On top of that, this is a young Vikings’ secondary that Rodgers will be up against, and in an offseason with limited practice time and no preseason games, this is a matchup that he and Davante Adams can really exploit.

No, this 300-yard game may not look like the ones that we are used to where Green Bay is lining up five wide, and Rodgers is making incredible throw after incredible throw, but I certainly believe that he has a great opportunity to hit that mark.
