3 reasons why Packers will beat Vikings in Week 1

3. Aaron Jones

Not only did Aaron Jones have a breakout 2019 campaign, but he also dominated the Vikings in their two matchups; running for 116 yards and one touchdown in Week 2 and 154 yards and two touchdowns in Week 16. Furthermore, his 5.87 yards per rushing attempt was his third-highest against any team in 2019.

It will be interesting to see how he fares this time around, as Minnesota will certainly zone in on stopping the Packers’ lead back. As one of only two proven playmakers on offense, the Vikings and other defenses will specifically gameplan to slow him down. Regardless, he’s talented enough to disrupt their defensive attack and he should be in line for another big game against the Packers’ division rival. Expect him to have an impact both on the ground and through the air.
