Weakness: Wide receivers

Setting the extraordinary Davante Adams aside, the Packers have a less than ordinary group of wide receivers in Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimous St. Brown and Malik Taylor.

Lazard solidified himself as the no. 2 receiver without much competition from the rest of this group. I’m not sure if that speaks to a leap he took after last season or the lack of excitement from the other receivers. Valdes-Scantling got off to a decent start, but completely disappeared over the second half. And St. Brown and Taylor are completely unproven in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers is definitely going to have to recapture some old magic, as their passing game will struggle throughout the season. When defenses key in on Adams and Aaron Jones out of the backfield, is there a third player capable of stepping up? We’ll find out.
