1. Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Last year was supposed to be Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s breakout season. And he was off to a good start through the first eight games before pulling a disappearing act in the second half of the season. Well, you know what they say: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on…well, I guess I’m a fool.

Valdes-Scantling is in a prime position to be a post-hype breakout candidate in 2020. He has a unique blend of size and speed and he finally showed off the ability to use both of them in training camp. That’s great news for the Packers considering he’s their only semblance of a deep threat on the roster.

If Valdes-Scantling truly has figured this receiving thing out it would be a huge boost for the Packers’ offense who sorely need a third weapon behind Davante Adams and Aaron Jones. We already know defenses will key in on those two which opens the game up for another player to take advantage of one-on-one coverage. That looks to be Valdes-Scantling at this point.
