Robert Foster, wide receiver
The wide receiver position has been a hot topic all offseason in Green Bay. After not picking one in a draft full of them, the Packers biggest move was to sign Devin Funchess in free agency. Only it turns out he isn’t playing this season due to COVID. Then, Green Bay let Kumerow go in free agency and appear to have a bunch of question marks behind Davante Adams.
After working out a couple receivers on Friday, Green Bay signed former Bills’ wideout Robert Foster to their practice squad. Foster adds the speed element the Packers desperately need and was a deep threat in Buffalo, averaging a whopping 20.2 yards per catch in two seasons.

Foster joins receivers Reggie Begelton and Darrius Shepherd to form an intriguing three-man receiver position on the newly increased 16-man practice squad. If he can refine his game, Foster could provide Green Bay with a second deep-threat next to Marques Valdes-Scantling, an intriguing option for a limited offense.
