3. Dan Skipper, OT

The Packers made a questionable decision at offensive tackle on Saturday, cutting their primary backup Alex Light, in favor of massive undrafted free agent Yosh Nijman. Green Bay must really like Nijman’s potential because he missed most of camp due to an injury and would likely be a guy they could’ve slid onto their practice squad considering nobody else has seen him play.

That leaves a big question mark, especially considering Rick Wagner’s injury history and up and down play as well as Billy Turner’s questionable status for Week 1 due to injury. Of course, there’s always Jared Veldheer, but Green Bay has been unwilling to pursue that option so far.

Another path they could choose is to claim Dan Skipper off waivers. At 6-foot-9, he’s one of the biggest players in the league and has shown some potential with the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions and Houston Texans. He’s another project, but it might be worth it for the extra depth.
