The Green Bay Packers could consider claiming these four recently released players off waivers.

Saturday was an eventful day for the Green Bay Packers as well as the rest of the NFL, as all 32 franchises were forced to cut their roster down to 53 players. There were some surprises along the way, and the roster is far from finalized, but this is the next step ahead of the Packers’ Week 1 game against the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday.

It’s a bit different this season, as there were no preseason games which means teams don’t have film on other players, especially undrafted free agents. Although that makes it unlikely one team will pick up another undrafted free agent, there are now a bunch of players on waivers from Saturday’s cuts. This will certainly lead to another wave of roster moves as teams work to tweak their initial roster and fill some holes

The Packers’ biggest holes after Saturday’s cuts are at wide receiver and offensive tackle, where they surprisingly let Jake Kumerow and Alex Light go. Those could conceivably. be two positions they target on the waiver wire. Let’s check out four players who were let go by their respective teams yesterday, but could find a new landing spot in Green Bay.
