Tight End

On the bubble: Evan Bayliss

There isn’t a lot of intrigue at the tight end position this year, as the group is underwhelming as a whole. Jace Sternberger, Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara and Robert Tonyan are locks for the roster and they are what they are at this point.

The only question is whether Matt LaFleur and company will keep a fifth tight in Evan Bayliss. It’s difficult to imagine a need for Bayliss considering Lewis has the run-blocking portion of the position locked up, Deguara can play all over the field and Tonyan is the pass-catching specialist. It’s unclear what Bayliss’s purpose would be if he makes the final roster.
