On the bubble: Will Redmond, Vernon Scott

Similar to cornerback, the top three safety positions are locked in for Darnell Savage, Adrian Amos and Raven Greene. At least one of these guys will make the final roster and it’s even possible both could end up sliding their way on, at least to begin the season.

Will Redmond proved his worth on special teams last season which will likely earn him a spot once again. He was all over the field and he’s earned a special place on this team. Scott, a seventh-round pick in this year’s draft, could sneak his way onto the final roster, but the more likely option is he earns a spot on the practice squad.
